As you come up with meals for the week you will probably have new ingredients that you decide to add to the shopping list.
That’s perfect. some fresh items will have a lower shelf life than others, so plan the meals that use those ingredients earlier on in the week.
Things that tend to stay fresh a little bit longer can be held until later. Take this into account as you purchase produce in particular. For example, if you want avocado on Friday, buy one that is a little tough and anticipate it ripening by then.
