Ingredients
- 24 ounces Nestle Chocolate Morsels (your choice of milk or dark chocolate)
- 24 ounces Nestle White Chocolate Morsels
- 1 1/4 cup crushed peppermint candy cans
Instructions
- Place unwrapped candy canes in a ziplock bag and crush by rolling a rolling pin over the bag until they meet your desired size and texture.
- Place chocolate morsels in a large microwave-safe bowl and microwave for about 45 seconds. Stir and replace, microwaving at 30-second intervals, stirring between each interval, until chocolate is fully melted.
- Spread mixture onto a parchment-lined baking sheet. Place in refrigerator and let harden (about an hour).
- After an hour, melt white morsels in a large microwave-safe bowl and microwave for about 45 seconds. Stir and replace, microwaving at 30-second intervals, stirring between each interval, until chocolate is fully melted.
- Into the melted white morsels, stir in 1/2 of the crushed peppermint candy and immediately spread over the hardened chocolate morsels.
- Sprinkle the remaining crushed peppermint over the top of the pan of hardened chocolate layers.
- Allow hardening in the refrigerator for an hour.
- After the hour, remove from pan and parchment and break into pieces.
- Perfect for holiday spreads, holiday charcuteries, and gift-giving.
