6 Cocktails To Help You Ring In The New Year or Level-Up Any Occasion
Ringing in the new year is likely to be spent staying up for the clock to strike midnight while imbibing on average cocktails. Not very memorable. Everyone initially strives to pull off a better than average NYE celebration, however the busyness the holiday celebrations prior overshadow the ultimate success of your NYE party. But, fret not. We've got 5 cocktails to help you ring in the new year!
Champagne may remain the classic for the stroke of midnight, but for the rest of the night, we've got what you need to level up your shindig. That said, here’s our favorites that we'll be sharing this New Years Eve.
In a Pear Tree
In my travels, I had come across the best wine bar in Ames, Iowa. It, of course, served many wines but also had an extensive drink menu, including a vast variety of vodka mule's. It quickly became 'my thing' to frequent this establishment in order to make my way through tasting all of their mule flavors.
Moscow Mule's are typically served in aesthetically pleasing copper mugs that also help them retain their coldness. They also make a fabulous gift basket presentation, along with a bottle of vodka, if you are looking for an over-the-top gift for someone.
Garnish your mule with sliced pear, or an in this recipe, lemon. Due to browning, we came across a sugared and baked garnish idea that we will use since we can prepare them ahead of time.
