Keto French Toast Egg Loaf
This Keto French Toast Egg Loaf is shockingly easy and delightfully delicious. It is light, fluffy and delicious plain or topped with sugar-free maple syrup. There is nothing better than starting your day with this comforting and hearty Keto breakfast!
Keto French Toast Egg Loaf Recipe
Typically, I enjoy something like this on the weekend. I am not big on cooking breakfast during the week.
Having said that, I do enjoy eating breakfast, just not cooking it lol. This is a recipe we like to make on the weekend and enjoy the leftovers throughout the week.
Often I will make an extra one just to be sure we have those leftovers to enjoy.
While it looks like a bit of work, it is uncomplicated.
It also doesn’t take a lot of specialized products for Keto. In fact, you will probably have all but the Swerve confectioners sugar in your pantry.
Specialty Ingredients Needed for Keto French Toast Egg Loaf
So, as I stated previously, you will really only need one specialized ingredient to be low carb keto. However, you might also want a sugar-free syrup. Here are my recommendations:
- Swerve Granulated – Needed for the base but you may also dust the loaf slice upon serving.
- Lakanto Sugar-Free Maple Syrup
- Smuckers Sugar-Free Syrup – This is ONLY for those who practice dirty keto.
It’s such a simple to make batter that turns into this heavenly Keto French Toast Egg Loaf!
The Keto French Toast Egg Loaf already has an incredible flavor, however, feel free to add keto-friendly options that will take it to the next level:
- Keto-Friendly chocolate (like Lilly’s)
The Keto French Toast Egg Loaf is loved by my 10,8 and 5 year olds. It is highly requested on the weekends. For holidays that I have served breakfast for, I make my Keto Feta and Bacon Breakfast Bake along with this and they are both a hit with any family and friends. Both are completely devoured. They are absolutely amazed that it is keto/low carb.
I’ve prepared both the Keto Feta and Bacon Breakfast Bake and the Keto French Toast Egg Loaf mixtures the evening prior and baked the morning needed. This is more convenient when there can be chaos in the morning.
You can serve the slice of Keto French Toast Egg Loaf with a dusting of the Swerve confectioners sugar or sugar-free syrup. I prefer mine dirty keto with the Smuckers Syrup.
This looks delicious. I may try this over the weekend!
