My generation was raised with Moms who utilized the slow cooker and passed on that knowledge to us and with that, I am passing on Keto Slow Cooker knowledge. The knowledge that busy families need to get healthy meals on the table and you could do it with the slow cooker.

Over time, we’ve come out with more and more gadgets, but slow cookers really stand the test of time.

Amazingly, crock pots can be used for just about anything. Even desserts. Heck, I’ve seen them used in crafts!

Slow Cookers are Classic but Timeless

Slow cookers are great because you basically dump your stuff in and forget it until it’s time to serve it. In fact, you are supposed to leave the lid on and not touch it, so the juices stay in. Plus, they take up very little room.

They are such a simple piece of gadgetry. You set your temperature, dump all your ingredients in and set the timer.

I’ve compiled my keto favorites from the crock pot category. They’re exceptional, but perfect for all skill levels.

These recipes will be so beneficial to your keto diet because you won’t need the excuse that you are busy and can’t cook. They are also so family friendly there’s no need for 2 meals!

However, just remember to calculate macros for yourself. Keep track of your macros and have keto friendly snacks and fat bombs available.

Let’s face it, we are all busy and on top of that, sometimes we just aren’t up to cooking a big meal. But nothing is easier than Keto Slow Cooker meals, right?! And if you thought you couldn’t do Keto Slow Cooker recipes, think again! You definitely do not have to sacrifice convenience because you are keto.

Since these are family friendly Keto Slow Cooker recipes, you’ll need a decent sized slow cooker/crockpot

If you consider making extra for the week’s lunches, then you may want larger than a 6 quart.

Before I share my favorite slow cooker meals, I thought I’d share some of my tried and true slow cooker tips to make life easier.


Tried & True Slow Cooker Tips

  1. Crock Pot liners make clean up easy. Drop a liner in, put your foods in and when you’re done it’s simply the removal of the bag and all of that cooked on mess is in the bag! No more scrubbing! Amazing right?! These are the bags I use here and here.
  2. Prep the day prior. No one wants to prep in the morning before work. Prep the night before and all you’ll need to do the next morning is turn it on! I also like freeze and dump meals where you meal prep several meals that you freeze, thaw when ready to use and dump in the crockpot.
  3. If you forgot to turn the crockpot on, or you are scared to have it cooking while you’re gone, use an Instant Pot when you get home.  The Instant Pot is super fast, and in many cases, the meal is ready in 30!
  4. More fat is better.  A true cook knows fat adds flavor. It’s also important to keto.
  5. As I stated in the prep section, many crock pot meals are great for freeze and dump. This means you can set aside a day and prep several meals that you pop in the freezer. When ready to cook, thaw and dump on the slow cooker! Easy Peasy!
