Why TheChristmas Chronicles is going to be great
Netflix has put out a ton of original content lately and this is the first live action family film Netflix has made with an established director and major star. That speaks to the quality of the production we are about to see on the platform and I can't wait. One of the big indications that we are in for a special holiday treat in The Christmas Chronicles is the involvement of producer Chris Columbus. His expertise and mastery of the medium along with his quirky style are reason enough to get excited. Not to mention Kurt Russel will play Santa Claus in the movie. He's the perfect choice for Santa, but his casting also opens the door for all kinds of interpretations of the role.
One thing Netflix promises, is that this is a Santa "as you've never seen him before." I'm totally pumped and I can't wait to see what director Clay Kaytis has been able to do in collaboration with this amazing talent.

This live action family adventure comedy kicks off when a sister and brother hatch a plot on Christmas Eve to catch Santa Claus on camera. They plan a stake out and sneak into his slay when he arrives. After causing the slay to crash a hilariously wild night unfolds. Kurt Russel's Santa has to work with the kids and his loyal elves to save Christmas. This promises to be a wishful and festive movie that may become an instant holiday classic.
