Those on keto have the secret... They not only eat spectacular meals made of delicious foods like steak but surprisingly they have some pretty glorious desserts.  Keto Fat Bombs, Sweets & Treats, is my secret weapon for cravings.

The trick is becoming familiar for the keto swaps that let you get creative.  Knowing that you can't have flour but can have almond or coconut flour, instead.

If you aren't creative, never fear. There are others that are. And luckily for us less than creative individuals, they share their keto wisdom. In doing so, many have provided cookbooks that make the job easier than ever. One such cookbook I have had the privy to review,  Keto Fat Bombs, Sweets & Treats, offers many delicious treats that are decadent and indulgent yet allowed on keto. The cover features the most delicious looking treats alluding to what's to come.

Besides her excellent blog Two Sleevers, Urvashi Pirtre, can now add cookbook author to the repertoire of talent that seems never-ending as far as keto goes. Having lost 80 pounds on the keto diet, she felt compelled to share her knowledge and her recipes with other keto followers.

For those who are not familiar with keto and macros, she begins with a 4-week plan for easing into keto as well as understanding and calculating macros on a keto diet, thereby also explaining the concept of fat bombs. She also explains as she calls it, the Magnificent Seven which are the seven essential pantry ingredients used to prepare ket desserts and baked goods.

Those unfamiliar with keto, or new to keto will probably be thinking "I can't believe these are keto" recipes. There are more than 100 sweet treats to indulge with some that only take 15 to 20 minutes to prepare.

For me, I love the added personality. The advice as someone who successfully lost 80 pounds, what worked, keto swaps, keto myths as well as keto basics.

To my surprise, she pretty much covered all the ground for treats and desserts from keto shakes and smoothies to ice pops and everything in between. She even included a section on keto salad dressings! I will definitely be trying several of these with my family and have already made them  Cottage Cheese Dollar Pancakes on a morning pancakes were requested. That's the thing I love about keto. It's so family friendly!

FINAL WORDS

So, if you are a ketogenic or low-carb diet follower, you can have many of the treats you thought you couldn't. Knowing what swaps to make will have you successful and this book will help you. As for many items like the fat bombs, they help you get the needed fat for keto and will help keep fatigue, constipation, and tiredness, at bay. Many things in the book, especially fat bombs, can be prepared ahead on a meal prep day and frozen, keeping you on a good path. She even gives precise nutrition and macro percentages.

Keto Fat Bombs, Sweets & Treats” gives you over 100 tried and true sweets, treats, shakes, and smoothies and gives you all the advice you need about fats, swaps, starting out and so much more. This book is the only book you need for ketogenic or low-carb desserts, treats, and fat bombs. Trust me, she covers it all!
