While the cold, winter air is absolutely working against you, so is all that heat we blast. However, all of that does not mean we can’t do our best have glowing skin. So, follow these winter skincare tips to keep glowing and hydrated.
Skincare Tips for Cleansing & Hydrating
There actually is a ‘right’ way to clean your skin in the winter months, because you can prevent your skin from drying. Here’s the steps to follow:
• Use warm water instead of hot
• Use gentle cleansers rather than harsh ones
• Tap skin to blot dry, never rub (use fresh towels).
• Apply moisturizer immediately following cleansing and drying.
First and foremost, Humidify
As I said before, that heat we blast is super drying, and we are in the heat almost 24/7 in the winter. So, you can imagine what damage that drying heat is doing by the minute. The best thing you can do for your skin is using a humidifier at least at night. This will put moisture back into the air, thereby adding much-needed moisture to your skin. maintaining moisture in the air is one of the top skincare tips for spaces impacted by the use of your heater.
