Lately, I’ve been on an air fryer recipe kick. Finding or creating any recipe that is keto and air fryer friendly has been my goal and these cookies fill the bill!

The cookies are delicious as is and you can switch the recipe up by adding a keto friendly nut or a keto-friendly peanut butter to the batter.  You can even switch out the chips for other flavors of sugar-free chips.

What makes these cookies keto-friendly?

These cookies are made keto friendly by first replacing the flour and sugar with a combination of almond and coconut flours and Swerve confectioners sugar and brown sugar. 

Additionally, switching out regular chocolate chips with a sugar-free version of chocolate chips make these cookie rich and chocolatey. I highly recommend Lily's baking chips.

How to make the best low carb chocolate chip cookies

Mix all of the ingredients together except chocolate chips and blend until smooth.

Chill batter in the freezer for 30 minutes.

Preheat air fryer to 350 degrees.  

Form chilled batter into 24 evenly sized cookies. Place some cookies onto a well greased sheet pan or cake pan that fits into your air fryer. You may have to make several batches of cookies.

Air fry the cookies for 6-8 minutes until browned and cooked through.

  • Use a good quality sugar- free chocolate like Lily’s Chocolate Chips.
  • Use a cookie scoop. Using a cookie scoop ensures the same size cookie for even cooking.
  • You can freeze the cookies in an airtight container. I bake a few batches and freeze so I can pull a cookie or two out to thaw when the craving hits.

Air Fryer Chocolate Chip Cookies

Yield: 24 cookies
Prep Time: 15 minutes
Cook Time: 8 minutes 6 seconds
Total Time: 23 minutes 6 seconds

Ingredients

  • 1 ¼ C. Almond flour
  • ⅓ C. Coconut flour
  • 1 C. Butter unsalted and softened
  • 1 tsp. Vanilla extract
  • ¼ C. Swerve confectioners sugar substitute
  • ¼ C. Swerve brown sugar substitute
  • Pinch of salt
  • ½ C. Lily’s baking chips

Instructions

Mix all of the ingredients together with the exception of the chocolate chips. Blend until smooth. 

Fold in the chocolate chips. 

Chill the batter in the freezer for 30 minutes.
