WHAT YOU WILL NEED:
- Chocolate Fudge Cake Mix
- 2 Large Eggs
- Melted Butter, or Canola Oil, or Vegetable Oil
- Powdered Sugar
HOW I MAKE THE CHOCOLATE CRINKLE COOKIES
First mix together the cake mix, eggs, and oil until well combined.
Chill the dough in the refrigerator at least an hour.
Preheat your oven to 350 degrees and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
After the dough chills at least an hour, form into (tablespoon-sized or using a cookie scoop) balls.
Roll the balls in the powdered sugar until coated well.
Place each dough ball on the baking sheet and bake 7 minutes. Allow to cool.
TIPS FOR PERFECT CRINKLES
For the best crinkles, the dough should be chilled and the balls should be small and well coated in powdered sugar. About the size of a tablespoon or a cookie scoop is perfect. If the powdered sugar dissipates after baking, you can re-dip in powdered sugar. If you don't overbake, the cookies will be soft and chewy. To keep them soft and chewy, be sure to store them in an airtight container.
