If you are doing Keto and going to Animal Kingdom, you need this! These tips for staying keto at Animal Kingdom are THE BEST! I am so happy I found these GREAT home decor ideas and tips! Now I have great ways to stay Keto. So pinning!Animal Kingdom has a pretty stellar reputation when it comes to dining and special diets.  They have allergy menus and can assist you in your dietary needs just like anywhere else, but in Animal Kingdom the food is generally more free of common allergens, to begin with.

The problem is that the Keto diet does not directly relate to allergies, the way a gluten-free diet does. Because of this, it can be more difficult to source out really good Keto friendly options.  However, they are there. You can particularly eat well if you do not commit to a dining reservation and instead pick your way around the park at Animal Kingdom Keto friendly locations.

The Best Animal Kingdom Keto Friendly Table Service

Tusker House is by leaps and bounds the number one place to go to for Keto friendly foods.  It is a buffet, which you should always target when staying Keto in Disney World. The array of options and the control you have over selections are essential.  Plus, you can eat as much as you like, which will help in situations when there is nothing suitable around to eat. You can even get help in identifying any food you have questions about, so you can dine confidently.  Just be advised that this is a character meal. The runner-up is the Nomad Lounge by Tiffin’s. This is really only because of the charcuterie and artisanal cheese. There's no question that they are good, but they are also pricey.

Unfortunately, Animal Kingdom no longer sells turkey legs and hasn't for quite a while.  Although snacking locations are prevalent throughout the park and feature more variety than other parks, those options are rarely Keto friendly.  Not to worry, though. There are some terrific quick service restaurants that will more than suffice.

The first thing that needs mentioning is that Animal Kingdom has gained a toppings bar in Restaurantosaurus.  This is huge. Just as Pecos Bill and Cosmic Ray's are must do's in Magic Kingdom, you will find bulking up your order here at Restaurantosaurus to be a major benefit.  It's just one more reason to come to this brilliantly themed location rich in the backstory.

In Asia, you will approach Yak and Yeti Local Food Cafes on your walk toward Africa.  The Keto options here are American Kobe burger or hot dog without the bun. If you travel a bit further to Africa's Harambe Market you will find more options worth considering.  Chicken Skewers, Pork sausages, and gyros from either beef or lamb are the best choices for Keto. Of course, you will want to avoid naan and there is a papaya slaw that won't do you any favors.  There are two more places I highly suggest. Satu'li Canteen in Pandora has very transparent menus and puts you in control of building your order. Flame Tree Barbecue is a fan favorite on Discovery Island in the center of the park.  here you can get a half chicken with beans and coleslaw.
