Organizing is one of my favorite things.
Even if it’s not my idea and one I’ve found elsewhere, I have a sense of satisfaction knowing things are clean and in their space. Everything has its own space.
It’s even more important the smaller your space is. And I know the budget is a concern. Nonetheless, keeping an organized home is a must.
With Valentine’s Day coming up you’re probably looking for budget ways to show the man in your life that you love him and if you enjoy crafting, incorporate some fun activities into your day. I also think handmade gifts are more special. After all, what better way to show you care than to put time and effort into a heartfelt and handmade gift. I’ve got you covered with 10 Heart Warming Valentine’s Day DIY Gifts! If one of these inspires you to craft for your special someone, I’d love to see the results!
As you already know if you read my blog, I am an avid organizer. I like everything to have a place and everything to be in its place. I am always looking for ideas I’ve not thought of. Bedroom organization is helpful to save time, have more productive mornings and is important if you have limited space.
For me, sticking to a budget includes gifts for others. This doesn’t mean that they aren’t special. I always look for ideas that I can keep and turn into something meaningful for them. Now, you may be the type to think homemade gifts are tacky. This is not true for the majority of those receiving a gift. For example, my job is working with college girls and the best gift I ever received was a box of cards that they each wrote things they loved about me and our time together as well as photos.
Truth be told, the dollar store is one of my favorite stores. Whether it is Family Dollar in Greenville SC or Florida, your nearest family dollar has great stuff! No, I am not a super cheap person either. But why would you pay full price for everyday items that you can get for cheap?! They have many amazing items for your home, crafts, and so much more from the dollar store. And everything is just a dollar.
Not sure what to get but want it to be more meaningful than a gift card? I’ve compiled this list to help you create a spectacular gift basket for anyone, even the hardest person on your list to buy for!
The best Christmas ornaments are those that the family makes together. The times spent doing these activities are memorable and those ornaments are keepsakes and remind us of the time spent. Some of my best memories are of my time spent with my grandmother making ornaments. They are also the best gifts. I love the ornaments I get from the kids! I’ve compiled the cutest keepsakes that your family can spend time on together. I’d love to see what your kids make!

If you are like me, we need to stay within budget at Christmas but we have such an extensive list of people to buy for. Well, this list of Fun & Festive Gifts in a jar I’ve compiled will help you come up with practical gifts that your recipients will love. Everyone loves a gift that has shows you thought about them it and these do just that! So for those secret Santas, neighbors, mailman, teachers, well…just about everyone on your list, all you need to do is make a few jar gifts and you’re prepared. My personal tips: make a few extra for those unexpected gifts you get and for ease in making, use wide mouth jars.
