With summer upon us, it will be extra hard to keep up with the house when the kids are home all day and all we want to do is have fun with them. Even during holidays, it’s hard. No matter the time of year, these cleaning hacks will help you keep clean and speed clean. No one wants to spend time cleaning when we can be spending time having fun. In my quest to shorten my cleaning time, I came across these super helpful tips that I am sure will help you as well!
Busy families on the go with road trips, holiday trips, or on the road to sports know that it’s tough to keep the car organized and the kids happy.
We work hard to earn a living. We should make sure we spend the money we bring home wisely. That’s where a household budget comes in. It’s a good tool to see at a glance what we have coming in, what’s going out (and what that money is paying for) and if there’s anything left at the end of the month to put into savings.
When we are traveling we often like to stay in a homey atmosphere. We like to stay in some sort of home/condo vacation rental.
We’ve stayed with one several times a year, and plan on staying with them over this summer as well.
While I may use Airbnb frequently, but there are still a few people out there who have either never heard of Airbnb before or are afraid to use it.
I hope to dispel those fears. There are many positive aspects to any vacation rental and I’d like to share those with you:
We all have busy days that make it difficult to get a dinner on the table, on a budget and KETO. Especially with a family!
The mundane nightly trip to the store, followed by the speedy attempt to get a dinner on the table often means it isn’t healthy or worse yet, it’s take-out.
We all have the same struggles.
I have to admit, I am a bath bomb addict. I love how my skin feels and that they do the fizzy thing when you drop them in the tub. Quite simply, one of my favorite things. Several a week. But I hate the expense. $10 or more? That doesn’t fit in my budget. That’s highway robbery! I started looking into making them at home and discovered it is inexpensive. If you’ve never tried a bath bomb, you are seriously missing out on a spa-like experience! But with a wonderful fizz that gives your bath just the right kick.
My generation was raised with Moms who utilized the slow cooker and passed on that knowledge to us. The knowledge that busy families need to get healthy meals on the table and you could do it with the slow cooker. Over time, we’ve come out with more and more gadgets but slow cookers really stand the test of time.
For me, sticking to a budget includes gifts for others. This doesn’t mean that they aren’t special. I always look for ideas that I can keep and turn into something meaningful for them. Now, you may be the type to think homemade gifts are tacky. This is not true for the majority of those receiving a gift. For example, my job is working with college girls and the best gift I ever received was a box of cards that they each wrote things they loved about me and our time together as well as photos.
